Leanne Currey-Randall

I am a fish ecologist at the Australian Institute of Marine Science, leading research focused on community dynamics and spatial ecology of fishes (teleosts and elasmobranchs), using a variety of methods (e.g. baited cameras/BRUVS, acoustic telemetry) to understand the drivers of diversity, abundance, community structure and movement patterns. My recent/current projects include describing and monitoring fish communities of shallow reefs and deep shoals across northern Australia, identifying drivers for long-distances movement patterns, and understanding how industry activities, marine protected areas and environmental conditions affect fishes through time.
