Kate D Masci
Kate Masci is a Fisheries Technician who has been working for the Department of Agriculture and Fisheries', Fishery Monitoring team for 11 years. She started her career at the Australian Rivers Institute, Griffith University, researching phylogeography and population genetics of freshwater fish and crustaceans. Since joining the Fishery Monitoring team she has been involved in all aspects of routine data collection for fishery monitoring and has recently been involved in the team’s first ever projects incorporating genetic markers into shark monitoring.
