David Schoeman
David Schoeman is Professor of Global Change Ecology at the University of the Sunshine Coast. As a quantitative marine ecologist who has worked in South Africa, the United Kingdom and Australia, he has diverse interests in climate-change ecology and marine conservation planning. Dave’s work as a key member of a variety of collaborative international research networks culminated in his role as Coordinating Lead Author on the Ocean and Coastal Chapter of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change Sixth Assessment Report. Dave is currently working on advancing the science associated with climate-smart conservation planning for the global ocean.
